State Street Mile - GRAND PRIX EVENT

This unique point-to-point Mile on Santa Barbara's famous State Street begins just a 1/4 mile from the Old Mission Santa Barbara on State and Pedregosa Streets. Runners will then descend just over 100 feet in elevation as they enter the historic, Spanish-inspired downtown, ending their journey on State and De La Guerra Streets.

Race day registration is available beginning at 7:00am near the starting line on the corner of Pedregosa and State Streets.

• 8:00am: Age Group Categories in approximately 10 minute intervals:

  • 10 & under

  • 11-14

  • 15-19

  • 20-29

  • 30-39

  • 40-49

  • 50-59

  • 60-plus

• 9:25am: Family Fun Mile

• 9:50am: Elite Masters & Elite Mile races

• 10:30am: Dog Run / Walk

• 11:00am: Backwards 1K Walk Guinness World Record attempt
